本作品描写了头脑聪明却在人际关系上有困难，以不加班为座右铭的警察署工作的女极客们，在周末的井户端会议上帮助解决事件的故事。

　　影片由黑柳彻子的自传小说改编，讲述了作者黑柳彻子上小学时一段真实的故事，小豆豆因淘气被原学校退学后，来到巴学园。在小林校长的爱护和引导下，一般人眼里“怪怪”的小豆豆逐渐成了一个大家都能接受的孩子。
